Seven aid workers killed in Pakistan
Seven aid workers -- all but one of them women - were killed Tuesday in a remote area of northern Pakistan, a police official said.
Five of the dead were teachers and the other two were health officials told police official Abdul Rashid CNN.
They had just left work, when four armed men opened fire on their vehicle in Sher Afzal, a village about 90 km (56 miles) from Peshawar, he said.
All seven were Pakistani nationals, he said.
The victims worked for Ujalla community center, a nonprofit organization that health and education to the community in Swabi area, Rashid said.
Their driver was also seriously injured and have been treated at the hospital, he said.
