                                     Silvio Berlusconi pay to his ex-wife 36m euros per year

Former Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to 36m euros (£ 30m, $ 48m) a year to pay his ex-wife Veronica Lario, reports say.
Berlusconi will $ 100 villa where the couple lived with their three children, as part of a divorce deal reportedly lodged on Christmas Day. Ms. Lario Berlusconi back in 2009 after he was seen on 18 anniversary of an aspiring model.

Forbes magazine estimated his wealth at nearly $ 6 billion in March. Corriere della Sera newspaper reported that Ms Lario, 56, who had originally asked for $ 56mA years.

Her 76-year-old ex-husband reportedly offered her about $ 5m.

The couple met in a locker room in 1980 after Berlusconi as Ms. Lario perform in a Milan theater.

They married in 1990.

He has two other children from his first marriage and is currently engaged to 28-year-old Francesca Pascale.

Berlusconi was Italy's longest serving post-war prime minister until his resignation in November 2011.

He says he will continue to run for office in 2013.

His third period saw slow growth and a national debt of 2.6 trillion dollars, and his government was slow to implement austerity measures in response.

He was also involved in a number of financial and sex scandals.

Since leaving office, he has fought various lawsuits.

In October 2012 he was sentenced to four years in prison by a Milan court after being convicted of tax fraud.

He is currently appealing the decision, and commentators say it is unlikely that he is always serve in prison.
