  One magician of US burned in Dominican TV 'stunt'

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (AP) - A magician from the U.S. to receive medical treatment and pursue legal action after hosting a TV show in the Dominican Republic set him on fire in an apparent stunt.

Wayne Houchin from the hospital, but is still treated for burns on his face, scalp and hands. Houchin tells The Associated Press that he was in a lot of pain, but improving.

The California native said Monday that he has hired lawyers to file a complaint to prepare so that it can pursue charges against the host.

The 29-year-old artist was taping a segment on "Closer To The Stars" program on 26 November, when the guest host Franklin Barazarte abruptly doused him with a flaming liquid. Barazarte did not respond to calls seeking comment.

Barazarte Houchin asked the woman on cologne pouring into his cupped hands and said Bueno to choose a lighter on stage and liquid stabbing.

"At this point, none of our hand any idea we have no idea what the host planned to do it," Houchin said. "We had no reason to pre suspicion that he was a stunt to perform We had a national TV spot filming -., We took host a professional presenter and thus confidence in him."

If the fluid in his cupped hands fire, the host poured it on the head of Houchin and rubbed it in his face. The show never aired, but an iPhone video of a member of the crew of the Wizard has been widely circulated on the Internet, where the U.S. writhing in pain on the stage floor.
