In an interview with Oprah Winfrey set to air Sunday, David Letterman says he has no one but himself to blame for the 2009 sex scandal in which he admitted to having affairs with several "Late Show" staff.
"I feel better about myself, my relationship with my wife has never been better, and it's only because I want the person I thought I was probably and pretended I was his" Letterman said in a newly released clip the upcoming episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter."
The late-night host adds, "I hurt a lot of people, I have no one to blame but yourself."
Letterman matters revealed in an on-air statement on October 1, 2009, after a former CBS News producer tried to extort $ 2 million from him.
