Gangnam-style hits on youtube
Gangnam Style is the first video for the clock to more than a billion views on YouTube.
The South Korean dance track SaveFrom.net was posted online in July, propelling pop star Psy to world fame. It has inspired hundreds parody clips, members of the British Army, the Royal Thai Navy and Minecraft gamers, among others.
YouTube owner Google, said the videos were seven 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 times a day on average seen.
It took the previous record - Justin Bieber music video Baby - 24 November.
"Psy success is a great tribute to the universal appeal of catchy music - and uh, big horses dance moves," wrote Kevin Allocca, YouTube Trends Manager on the blog of the service.
